Webpage opening-Hijackthis Log

After torrenting a file which ended up being corrupt I guess, I keep getting a webpage that is called something like update.windowsettings or something like that. WHen connected to the interent, firefox's phishing/malware filter stops it from loading which is great. but it always pops up when I resume from standby. I have run AVG and ad-aware but nothing has shown up. I ran CCleaner's registry cleaner hoping that might do something, but it is still happeneing. Here's the hijackthis log--thanks for your help.

Have you updated the definitions and scanned them in safe mode, try downloading spybot and run a scan as well.

I do not see anything suspicious, but I could be wrong.

Does it show the path of the program creating the error message?

Currently, the best malware scanner we have found is Malwarebytes. Download it and try it.

Just a quick look at that log reveals some nasties;

Update AVG8 as it should detect and remove that infection. Remove Ad-Aware 2008 or whatever it is as it's a waste of hard-drive space nowadays. Then do the following;

Malwarebytes is free to use and it will remove infections, the paid-for version has real-time protection. However, for now please use the free version.

Before running any scan it would be good o remove all junk/temp files: CCleaner (http://filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/) is good for this. When installing you don't need to install the Yahoo! toolbar - personally I wouldn't as it can hinder removal of any malware.

Can you please read this LINK (http://forum.pcmech.com/showthread.php?t=103171) and post/attach a hijackthis log. If you decide to run a malwarebytes scan please attach/post the log it makes to this post. This is so we can review it and make sure you are clean.
