lightscribe sata pain!

Hi all
Ok got myself a samsung S203P cdvd-rw with lightscribe so i pluged it in to the last sata socket i had the other five have all got hdd pluged plus the two IDE are also taken with my blu-ray & dvd-rw i am running Vista x32 booted up pc install drivers and updated firmware on the web site so all ok
except when i start up a label program ie; nero or droppix a window comes and says
"lightscribe error;communication error has occurred please restart and try again

which i have been doing i figured it must be something sata controller type bios thing
i don't run raid and switched evey sata title in bios messed it up a bit unable to boot into vista but got past that and am back where i started i have also unplugged evey thing except hdd's but still no change and can't find anything on the web about it
any help would be greatly recived

Have you tried to uninstall, and then reinstall the software?

Hi Yea Just done that uninstalled and reinstalled software then i uninstalled again plus uninstalled the dvd-rw and removed it and started afresh but still same problem ?
