Ever since I built my Pc, occasionally when I am playing a game it freezes up, and if I tdont tab out real quick, my videocard shuts down. When I tab out I see in the bottom left "The videocard has stopped working but has been recovered". I am using Windows Vista and a Sapphire 4850. I think it may be a compatability issue but Im not sure. I think I should try some drivers but I dont know where or how to download them. Can anyone help me please?

Drivers: http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html

Just choose your system, and card.

Also, does that alway shappen in that game after a certain amount of time? If so, it might be overheating. You can ty and take the side of the case off, and blow a fan on the card to see if it lasts longer. If it does, then you will have to increase the video card fan speed.

Also clean off any dust on the fan. (Make sure computer is off when you do this, and don't let the fan spin)

You have 3 threads - let's keep it in your very first one.
