uninstalling avg

i want to install avast and uninstall avg but can't get it to uninstall. i went to add remove--no luck, went to the uninstall in programs, no luck. how can i do it?

Install it again and use the Remove option during the installation.

I had trouble removing avg once before. Try this: http://www.avg.com/download-tools

I don't think it worked the first time.

Did you disable it before trying to uninstall?
