I installed Avast Home Edition FREE a couple months ago and am very pleased with it. However, a week ago on startup I received a message box that my "evaluation period" was about to expire and I needed to re-register, with the suggestion I upgrade to the paid package.
I followed the link to the re-registration site and submitted the form for a new activation key for the Home FREE package. They never emailed the new activation key. Now every time I log on, same message box says evaluation period will expire in one day. Resubmitted activation key form twice more, with no response. Verified that my email address is correct. About ready to uninstall and go with something else.
Any suggestions?
