First off, I'm only willing to spend $60 on a mouse.

I need something that is reliable, last long and is great for both gaming and general use.

I've narrowed it down to these 2 selections:

Logitech G5 $47 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826104076)

Razer Copperhead $55 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826153003)

What do you guys think? These are both great from what I've heard, but I've heard that Razer mice break easy... is this true?

both are great, it's up to personal preference.

I have the g5:
pro:
-adjustable weight
-grippy
-on-the-go dpi changing
-side button

con:
-a bit small
-every 16th scroll doesn't register ( a hardware problem that may be fixed by now)
-drivers break every once and a while (probably just me)

I hear the razer ones aren't bad. They look cool and are big.

Yea, I hear they're both great, performance wise probably equal, so that's why I was leaning towards getting the Razer, but I wasn't sure if it would last long, becuase some people have said the parts are cheap.

If you like to "palm" your mouse get the Logitech.

If you like to use a "claw" grip get the Copperhead.

I've been using a copperhead for a few years now. Love it. Honestly though, many people find them uncomfortable - so try to test in a store before you buy.
