Bluetooth headphones have a delay

Hi, I have some bluetooth headphones, and they are really convenient. However, they are practically useless for TV, Movies, or games, because there is a half-second delay between what shows on the screen and what i hear. How can I fix this?

I know it can't be the distance because my wireless keyboard and mouse work fine. it is the Insignia NS-BTHDST.
