Dose anyone know of a good site for nice Startup/Shutdown screens for Windows 98?

You can also download desktop architect and use it to create your own.

You can create an image (320 X 400 256 color) and replace your startup/shutdown screens with your own designs.

Or you can use MSPAINT and then edit LOGO.SYS - if doesn't exist create it inserting a Windows Bitmap the size 320 width by 400 Height and 256 colors .. and for LOGOW.SYS is the same you will find in c:\windows

Only problem with editing \logo.sys is that it won't be animated, windows\logow.sys would be OK with mspaint.
