Win ME and Ms-Dos

at the end of the post and Just before Windows starts to load I am getting this load beep and screens full of MS-DOS.sys error messages,,any clues..cause Im clueless what to do.....THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!

Incorrect setting in MSDOS.SYS..with lots of gumble and Hearts and Spades and Diamonds all over the screen....Thank you!!

May it's time to make a Virus scan ... can you try to make a copy of msdos.sys or try to open it in Notepad and look how it looks like in there and was WinME setup clean or was it an upgrade...?

I did virus scan before I started this project, no virus, I am taking the old HD to a new machine, remove the Enum key and reinstall the drivers and this mess is what i have ended up with..Thank you for you help!!

Try some different memory sticks. Sometimes bad memory will give you strange dos errors.

Thank you, but not a memory problem clean install on another HD works fine, got to be something that came over with the old HD that windows does not like..Thank you!
