Hi everyone!

I may be in the market for a new all in one. Thinking about going with a Laserjet this time.
I'm looking at this HP model.

Just wondering if any one here has an opinion on it. From the few reviews that I could find, most seem to be leaning positively for it. I'm also looking at the HP P1006. However I'm really leaning towards the all in one. I have an all in one now and the scan and copy functions have come in handy from time to time. Faxing is now pointless in my situation as I no longer have a landline. Anyway thanks for your time and input.

The price is very attractive, but to me, it has 3 disadvantages:

1. Scanner is sheetfed only, no flatbed
2. Host-based printer language
3. Not network-ready

For $400, you can get all 3 of these issues addressed, PLUS have color capability.

2. Host-based printer language

Not sure what you mean by that glc.
However, HP has it on sale at their site for $350 w/instant rebates. Haven't checked shipping charges yet.

Edit: with/shipping and taxes $409 at HP

Either way not a bad deal.

Host-based means it's a "winprinter" - it depends on the host computer to process all print jobs rather than having an internal PCL.

The M1319f is $229.99 plus $19.99 shipping at Newegg. The C1313nfi is $399.99, free shipping. Unless you are in CA, TN, or NJ, no taxes.
