Mouse

About a year ago I built a PC for a friend out of some old parts, for some reason i could not get the mouse to work and i had to install a program called browser mouse in order for it to work. The PC was running WIN95B. just recently she rang me to say the PC was not working. having checked it out her daughter tried to load an ISP disc and as the PC is not connected to the internet it has messed up the PC. i have wiped everything off and reloaded win95b but again i cannot get the mouse the work and i have lost the browsermouse program has anyone any ideas? the mouse is a serial connection:
Pentium 150
32 MB EDO RAM
Standard graphic card
CM13380 sound card (I think but have lost the driver)

I would check the bios set up on this machine for anything relating to the mouse,
also check the serial port set up. the fact is that the bios should detect the mouse. Windows does have drivers for the mouse but with out one working you would need to use the keyboard to get to control panel and add new hardware which is possible with the keyboard but it takes time.

Why don't you try with another mouse?
