Has anyone come across a small picture of a man's head in the corner of the ZoneAlarm icon in the system tray. This only appears when connected to the internet and has been happening for about a week.
I don't know if this is related but when installing a game demo the system crashed and after resetting Windows detected a lot of new hardware as if the ENUM key had been deleted from the registry.
This is happening on a Windows ME system, AMD 850, with 256MB RAM.

Please reply quickly as this is not my system but the owner of the system in question is here now and will be able to provide further info if necessary.

Thanks in advance

Is the man's hair red? That's just an alarm when ZA is blocking an unauthorized ping/connection. Nothing to worry about, broadband users get it all the time.

Yes, the hair is red. Do you get this when you have turned the alert window off?

Yes OK, I also use Zonealarm but always have the alerts displayed, that's why I haven't seen this before. Turned the alerts off and there is the little picture in the corner of the icon.
Yeah Zonelog Analyser is pretty good, I used to use it a lot but I'm now on an ICS network so I get very few alerts these days (I do still get the odd one now and again) so I haven't used it recently. Maybe I should give it a dust off, make sure it still works so to speak..

Thanks for the info
