I have a home computer with Windows XP-Home installed. My office network is running a Novell network. I have been unable to set up a connection due to the lack of a Netware Client for XP. I tried loading a Novell Client for Windows 2000 from a CD (foolishly ignoring the warning that XP gave me that it was an unsigned program. It did a partial install, hanging up when it could not find the SetupW2k.dll file.
One option at this point would be to find a copy of the SetupW2k.dll file and attempt to complete the install.
However, I think I would rather undo what I have done (uninstall the partial install of Novell Client for Windows 2000), and wait for my office to upgrade to a compatible system. Is there a way to do this safely? The Novell client does not appear in the Network connections-properties dialog box.
