if you want a card like that you will probably have to fork out more for a better PSU.

Please open the case, read the label on the power supply. Need to know the manufacturer, and the amp ratings on the +12v1 and +12v2. Also, look for a 6 digit number preceeded by an "E". It will be small, and near the UL symbol.

Thermal Master PSU 350w atx W/O pfc
10A/5A
DC output +12v +5v +3.3v -5v -12v +5vsb
current +10A 14A 14A 0.5A 0.5A 2A

I can't find a # starting w/an E or a UL sticker but I can't see the other side of the psu without removing it. I just want the best vidio card this one can handle.
thanks,
Dale

That's not even an ATX 2.x power supply, it won't handle any PCI-E video card. 10 amps on a single +12v rail is pathetic. Sorry about that, if you want a video card you will need a better power supply. Pick the card out first then we can advise on a replacement PSU.

You won't need too much power for those cards. But quality is important. This Corsair is a good unit: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139003&Tpk=corsair%20450w

For gaming, I think you need to look for a slightly better video card. This one is rated best in its price class.

Good power supply choice, it's down in the Antec price range now.
