A few days ago my computer started freezing for a few seconds ever now and then, and then the screen would go black, and then the picture would come back, with an error message saying "The display driver stopped responding." After this going on for a few days, I finally turned off my computer and inspected the hardware. Apparently 3 of the 10 capacitors on the video card ripped open, and leaked on the Firewire card below it. Do you think that video card could have caused any damage to the motherboard? Or will everything go back to normal once I replace the video card?
