DVD Drive problem

My DVD Drive show me strange behavior. It reads CDROM smoothly, but it not reads DVD anymore. When I am trying to insert DVD, computer goes freeze. can anyone tell me what problem with it.

Try cleaning it with a lens cleaning kit. The drive may be faulty.
