Recorder Iomega ZIPCD 650 External
Media : CD-R 21mins 190MB 3.5"disk

Nero 5.5.5.2 on Windows 2000 Pro

Error was : Invalid writestate
Could not perform End Track
Burn process failed at 4 x 600 kb/s

file was saved in the harddisk, was 4MB

From the day I bought this 'burner', I still can't get it to burn CD-R. Really pain in the a..

Maybe Morriswingate can help.

It has no problem on RW disks.

Just a thought, have you tried another brand of CDR's yet?

Hi moonlight-
I'm inclined to think that the fault lies with Nero. I have had this exact problem, although with namebrand (Sony, Maxell, TDK). Just count on making a few coasters.

Go to the NERO link below and download the HelpTool. A quick search of you error message indicated a Nero problem with the ASPI layer.
