Just to get a geographic sense of the PC Mech population, vote for where you currently live and post a state, province, etc. and why you like it there.

For me, California USA. The weather is great! (Well, most of the time :p)

Spartan Country, USA (East Lansing, MI). And thank the good Lord basketball season is starting -- I can't deal with our undiciplined football team any longer. Beat up on Michigan, lose to Indiana. Crush Penn State for a half, forget how to play during the next half. Argh!!!!!!!!!!!!

Long Beach, Mississippi, USA. Weather is great, a little on the hot side for some people (lol, it's currently 72, with an overnight low of 63, coldest it's gonna get in the next week is a low of 40) , 3 miles from the world's largest man-made beach and the Gulf of Mexico, fishing here is great, people are nice and friendly for the most part. All in all, I love it here. This is HOME, everywhere else is a nice place to visit!

I live in Northern California. Other consider San Fran in Northern Cali, but I'm 300 and some odd miles north of there on the coast, in Eureka. It sucks, no jobs, poorest county in Cali. Dont come here unless you're looking to farm marajuana.

I'm from the 4th state to ratify the constitution and the largest state east of the Mississippi. State bird is the Brown Thrasher, and the state fruit is the Peach. Ray Charles (who is from here) sings the state song "Georgia on my Mind" better than anyone.

I'm from an Air Force town in middle Georgia called Warner Robins. It's about 18 miles south of Macon.

Random. Home is where the heart is.

Wish I was in San Diego. Went to UCSD for a short while. Beautiful La Jolla, just north of San Diego proper. Currently in Pittsburgh area. Dismal place. Soon to be in the high desert northeast of Los Angeles.

Beautiful Denver, Colorado! 300 sunny days average a year. I am originally from Germany but could not stand the rain anymore. :)

Well, temperatures are a little bit on the 'crisp' side this morning = 2 degrees Fahrenheit - but the sun is shining - that's all I need!

Have a good one!

What about those in New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and the Pacific Islands, they don't fall into any category on the poll.

Madison, WI (formerly Minnesota, just outside the Twin Cities). The northern parts of the Midwest are the greatest place on earth -- four very distinct seasons, it's rarely too hot (rarely enters the 90s during summer) and never too cold (with appropriate clothing). Summer is a great time for swimming, boating, fishing, and lazy days. Winter has ice skating, skiing, snowball fights.

Depends on who you talk to. Yes, the UK is apart of the European Union. But my friends in the UK contend they are seperate from Europe. I guess it depends on perspective.

I thought poll was depending on geographic location not depending on perspective, because then it should:
Texas be separate from US,
Quebec- separate from Canada :)
