Not sure if this should be in the networking or gaming forum, but here goes: I have a 2 computer network. Lol, currently it's being used for me to frag my 4 year old. The main problem we are having is that Counter-Strike constantly crashes when we are playing. It runs just fine if I load a server on his computer and play it alone for a while. Quake 3 runs just fine over the network, and it seems to me that Q3 would be passing more data mack and forth that CS. Could this possibly be because of the difference between TCP/IP and IPX?

Hmmm, after doing some more "research" (playing games, lol) it seems that this isn't a network issue, rather a "Voodoo3 2000 reaching nuclear meltdown temperature" problem. Still seems to me that Q3 would be more demanding than CS, but what do I know... Anyway, I put a fan on the HS of the Voodoo, and will do more "research" into the issue later, lol.

Jenni,
Let us know if the fan on the hs solved the problem.
