elsa driver help!

hello to all of you!i need help from you.I had an elsa giadiac 511 with Tv-out!
can i download the new driver from nvidia main web pages instead of elsa webpage for new driver support!thank u.

Hi tech-no-blue, welcome to the PC Mech forums!

Well, the Gladiac 511 is based on the nVidia GeForce2 MX 400 so I'm assuming the latest Detonator drivers should work, although I don't know if it will enable/support all of the extra features on the card. The Elsa drivers are readily availble on the Elsa's site (http://www.elsa.com/asia/) however.

okay!if i going to download the Detonator XP v21.83 from nvidia,do i need to uninstall my elsa old driver.And does the elsa driver is the same as Detonator XP v21.83 from nvidia.does it support openGL 1.3 like the Detonator XP v21.83

The manufacturer's drivers are based on nVidia's, so if the Elsa drivers are new then they should basically be the same as the Detonators with a few added features.

I recently downloaded the new Detonator driver and just installed it "on top" of my old one. The self-intalling program went smoothly. Just double-click the icon in your download file.

where do you download the driver from?is it from nvidia or elsa webpage?there is so call that we must not use the Download Accelerator Plus.how to so-called to disable the Download Accelerator Plus.i am using win98SE and do i have the Download Accelerator Plus!thank u!

Download the nVidia Detonator drivers (http://205.158.109.140/Windows/21.83/Win9x_21.83.exe).

Download the Elsa Gladiac 511 drivers (ftp://ftp.elsa.de/pub/FILES/GRAPHICS/ELSA_CH/W9X/ELSA_W9X.EXE).

Unless you specifically installed Download Accelerator Plus then you don't have it.
