TvTuner volume control

I have a dynalink tvtuner and have used it in two different PC's with no problem but with my new computer the tuner software cannot control the line in jack on the sound card it only controls the Aux but the aux happends to be some pins on the mobo no good for use with my tuner can someone tell me how to make the software control the line in? the mobo is an asus a7v-e onboard sound AC'97 v2.1 Audio
