Anyone.please help.
When I am watching a Dvd,or on the net, some times there is audio I would like to tape(directly).I would like to tape the audi, until I have enough to fill a cd.If the quality is good,i may burn a cd from the tape, which sound card will enable me to do this.can I do this directly or do i have to put in the hard drive.
Is there a sound card,(low end)that I can receive good quality audio to a tape deck.

Not sure about this, but why do you want to record it to tape first ? You'll lose quality by doing this (assuming you'll use the normal audio tapes, not special digital ones).
There are programs which allow you to rip the audio stream from the DVD to hard drive. When ripped, then you might have to convert it (also free- or shareware progs available, maybe the burning software can do this job, too) and burn it to CD.

Hi Karen,

I agree with RJ, you don't want to output to tape, the quality will be horrible. There are many free programs that can extract just the audio from a DVD and you can then burn it to CD. Check out this (http://www.doom9.net/) site for more info.

Hope that helps.
