View Full Version : XP_ can't delete an 'unknown imaging device'

ERROR in Device Manager when trying to uninstall an unknown device: 'Failed to uninstall the device. The device may be required to boot the computer.'

This is twice now I've come across this.
How can items listed in Device Manager be removed?
I tried uninstalling in Safe Mode already, not sure what else to try.

The problem is fixed. Changing the drivers did it.
