Windows 98 problem HELP!!!

I am getting an error just logging on to my old computer. It states "Scan Disk detected invalid long file name entry on drive C and was unable to correct"

maybe try to go open scan disk, then go to advanced and see if the box is checked next to where it says to check for ms-dos name length errors (or something like that anyways) then uncheck the box. dunno if it will help, but since no one else answered you ....

If that doesn't work, try finding the file and renaming it.
