How can I get the quick launch taskbar (I think that's what it is called) to be available on my version of W95? I am running W95 4.00.950 B.

Hi Ryckman,
Havn't used Win95 in a while so I'm not sure if this works, but right click on the Taskbar, choose Toolbars and select Quick Launch. Hope that helps.

No - there is no quick launch option on the right click menu. Leads me to think that my version of W95 does not contain the quick launch taskbar. Is that possible? Maybe it is an installable extra?

On second though, I think the Quick Launch only appears in Win95 when IE4+ is installed.

I think I have found the answer. Facility is delivered with IE 4.0. You have to de-install IE5.x, install 4.0 (with correct desktop options) and then upgrade to 5.x being careful to keep previoulsy installed IE options.

I don't think Win95 had quick lauch at all, with the exception of Win95 C. You may can check Microsoft's Knowledge database and see if there's a patch or service pack for Win 95 B that would add it.
