I tried following the manual, but that didn't help.
Can someone please tell me how to connect the power, reset, speaker, etc. leds onto a EPOX 8KHA+ Motherboard ?
I have no idea in which way you connect them. There are 2 black strips, so do I connect the leds so that it makes a bridge over the two black strips ?
Is there a site somewhere with a picture or something.
Sorry for any confusion, but this was kind of hard to explain.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Hi liquid33,
You shouldn't have to "bridge" the gap between the two headers with the connectors, the pins used for each switch or LED should be next to each other.
The front panel wire connectors should be marked in some way (HDD-LED, PWR, PWR-LED, etc...) and the front panel header (on the motherboard) should be marked as well. As the abbreviations are not standardized, you'll have to do your best to match them.
Once you find the matching connections, the power and reset connectors can go on facing either way as they are not polar. The LED connectors must go on the right way because they are polar (one side positive and one side negative). If you connect it and the LED doesn't light up, just turn the connector around (with power off).
Here's some of the various connector abbreviations (there are probably more variations):
Power Switch = POW-ON, PWR-ON, PWR-BTN
Power LED = POW-LED, PWR-LED, STB-LED
Reset = RST, RESET
Hard Drive LED = HDD-LED, IDE-LED
Speaker = SPEAK, SPKR
There are other header pins, but most of the time they aren't used. These are Keylock, Wake-ON LAN, TURBO-LED and IR Connector.
Good luck.

Just to add the location of each is usually printed on the board.
I'll be honest I just hook em up then try it if it is backwards I shut down then correct it. The manuals that come with these board are almost never right.
