that is the number of pinnacle users that are completely frustrated with studio 7s inability to import CD music into the time line. I've been in contact with the pinnacle support staffand they have refused to offer any help. I'm supplying a thread below as a link to help you better understand the problem. If you require more information please reply to this message.

I guess I'm not seeing the problem -- as has been mentioned in the link you posted, just rip the CD tracks into WAV files -- import them into your timeline and you're all set.

Of course you could drop Studio 7 and use Adobe Premiere or Sonic Foundry Vegas Video and not have that problem. Both will import from CD with no problems.

Which is better adobe or vegas?

Both have pluses and minuses. I've not had the chance to look over the new Vegas 3.0, but I'd like to. As for Adobe, the biggest problem is rendering -- Premiere takes a load of time to render. That gives you great transitions and effects, but the time can be a problem on slower machines. As for GUI, my current preference is Adobe.

1) I fixed the problem. :)

2) Follow this link to the review of Vegas. They make it sound like it is the best ever, what is your opinion( based on this review)?
