Hi.. i have a problem.. or something.. :)

It all started earlier this afternoon when, for whatever reason, i uninstalled zonealarm.. it did so and said it needed to reboot.. so i did..

trouble started when upon reboot windows wouldn't load.. explorer could not be loaded and i get a message telling me i need to reinstall windows.. since no other obvious solution was apparent.. i did..

so I just installed Win98SE over the top of the previous installation and thought sweet.. it worked fine..

EXCEPT now every time i boot up i get this Answerworks runtime installation screen telling me everything has been installed into the programfiles/common files directory..

and i also have a task "_delis" running as well.. which wasn't there before..

anyone seen this before? what the hell is answerworks?
i haven't scanned for viruses since my liveupdate for NAV ran out and i can't afford subscribing/upgrading at the mo.. so... humph..

You have an incomplete install/uninstall. Empty out your \windows\temp folder and check your startup tab in msconfig. _delis is a remnant of Installshield. Answerworks appears to be a tool for developing help systems/files.

Go get a free online scan at http://housecall.antivirus.com and if you need a decent FREE antivirus, go look at AVG from www.grisoft.com .
