where do i find out what voltage and frequency to set my computer to
Documentation that came with motherboard and/or processor. Need to set CPU voltage, multiplier, and bus clock.
Might be in BIOS, might be jumpers on board, depending on the motherboard.

What mobo is it. Some have automatic setters, some have jumpers some have soft BIOS'. The standard core voltage for an Athlon classic is 1.6v. The multiplier should be set automatically. Athlons are multiplier locked. If this is not the case with your board, someone else should be able to tell you. Normally it would be 100Mhzx7, but Athlons are DDR, which means they run at a sudo-200Mhz bus, in which case the multiplier would be 3.5. I'm not at all clear on which way this works. Someone else should know.

Well, I'm off to go look for myself. If I should get back before I return, tell myself to wait for me.
