When I go to shutdown I am not getting a the message "It is now safe to shut down your computer". All I get is a blank screen. On start up it has to go through scandisk because of the bad shut down.
In msconfig, I have found the problem in the following areas:
System.INI
Boot: display.drv=pnpdrvr.drv
and
Display: Bus throttle "1"
When I uncheck them, the problem goes away but I get a "safe mode" type display.
Now that I know this, what do I do to correct this problem.
