Is it possible to install the Windows ME pinball game on a computer that is running Windows 98? (from the ME disk)

I don't have an ME install disc so not sure if it can be extracted easily from there

You could of course just copy the folder onto a floppy disk and transfer it over, this worked fine between Win2k and win98 for me

HTH, Thanks,

Get The PLUS! for Win98, it's in there. Technically, copying the game from a WinME machine to a Win98 machine is piracy.

Thanks FatBoyJim, I would have done that except the file was much larger than 1 floppy and I didn't have many floppys handy at the time.
Just thought there might have been an easy way to install from the ME disk, but since HAL9000 pointed out that it might require an eye patch to do that, I had better try to get the PLUS! :) (thanks HAL9000)

Instead of pirating MS games, why don't search the net for free pinball games?
Here is a free pinball game. (http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-10036-100-890640.html?tag=st.dl.10001-103-1.lst-9-2.890640)

Better yet, god forbid you pay for software but there are some kick ass pinball games out there in the stores. The one I own, can't remember the name but the description I have is that it has 3 Theme Games: Predator, Aliens, and Buffy (man she is HOT!)

You really think so? The episode the other day on BBC proved she could act. But hot's going a bit far isn't it mate...?

Not to really play pirate's advocate here, but if a person owned copies of both Win98 and WinME, would copying pinball from one maching to another really be piracy?

Jim
To each is own.

But on another note ******************************. But that is for a different thread.

Iman74, consider this a warning. We run a clean BBS here where people of all ages come to read and enjoy the forums. Your comment is not appropriate and has been edited.

doctorgonzo, yes, it's still piracy if you have two running machines with Win98 and WinME to copy one game over to the other.
