The situation:
I reformatted the computer yesterday. Everything is going smooth with the reinstall untill I go to install the easy CD creator(bundled software for my burner). I get an error that tells me that It can't install the software untill I Install a new Windows Installer Service Pack. Whatever that is.
Iv searched this site and the Microsoft site. No luck. Iv been through windows update and nothing about a Windows Installer Service Pack. It installed before the reformat. The only thing that is different is that I haven't installed Explorer 5.5 yet. Im running IE5 right now. I plan on putting 5.5 on it tonight but why would that make a difference.
stupified:confused:

P2 266Mhz

Everything is ok. Loaded The Microsoft® Windows® Installer Redistributable v1.2 and it took the Easy CD Creator software. Thanks MRT:D
