Restart everytime I access Internet

I get on the internet just fine but it won't let me go anywhere...it keeps saying page not found...using refresh doesn't help...so I have to restart my computer and then everything works just fine...I reinstalled the latest Explorer 6.0 from Windows update but it didn't change anything.
It gets a little old having to restart my computer everytime I want to get on the internet.
Anybody have any ideas?

Do you have broadband or dial-up?

If you use broadband, try reinstalling your e-net card drivers. I found that removing it from Windows entirely then rebooting works best.

If dial-up, then maybe try removing your dial-up connection, and creating a new one

If you are broadband running DHCP
Do a IP release and then a IP Renew instead of restarting.
