I have moved all applications from one computer to another using PC reclocator.
Everything works okay except applications that try to print in the dos enviornment. The ouput from the printer port is: zip drive (imega older version using the 100mb disk),scanner and hp 1000 printer. The printer and scanner work fine from windows. The zip drive works if I access it through windows and copy from a zip disk, but if I try to access the zip drive from the dos command, it locks up. The same thing happens when I try to print from a dos program using the command open "lpt1:" for output as #11 and then print #11, whatever. This command will work if I direct it to the scrn. I can print to the printer by using the lprint function. This all worked under the older version of w98. There is a dosprint application that might fix the print printer but still would have the zip trouble. Any help?
