When I turn on my pc, the last program to load is Zone Alarm. Right after I'm to the desktop, ZA shows an internet alert. To my surprise, something is trying to get out from my pc and according to the ZA Whois page it is pinging before ZA starts.
For info, the IP is 216.33.22.215 and I've traced it to a Chinese or other asian site.
My question is this. Is there a way for me to setup the startup process with ZA the first program to start with the others following?
I have a Linksys router with a hardware firewall and ZA. Believe it or not the alerts I get are from something trying to get out, not get in.
Any ideas?
Carl

Carl, it started with the firmware update from Linksy's, and the virus program that came with it. Disable the auto-update and see what happens.

ZA Alert-pop-up should say which app(or whatever) "trying to access internet"
