I am on a T1 LAN at school and i can't connect with a file sharing programs anymore. Kazaa is what i used to download music and such and i can connect now. People have said that they put a firewall up because p2p programs were hogging the bandwidth. I have tried many, about 15, other programs and no go there either. Is there anyway to get around this? Maybe proxy or something. Any help would be great.

If they put something up to block you out from using it, you shouldn't be using it to begin with. No offence, but school is for education, not entertainment.

I see how that would be true if i lived in a dorm but i pay to live in an apartment off campus. I pay to use this connection and was just wondering if there was anyway to get around it.
