This link has everything http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/winnt/train13.asp

You may only need this one http://www.microsoft.com/TechNet/sbs/reskit/sbs45res/part3/sbrk0322.asp

A couple of suggestions.

1)Make sure you reinstalled NT service pack 6 on the server

2)Configure the clients for servername server:80 Port 80 (yes, that means 80 twice) we have this little quark using the winsock client at work.

It would appear your proxy server is configured to run at port 8080, setting it at server:80 port 80 indirectly translates into 8080

Have you tried using the IP address instead of the address name of the proxy server in your internet browser configuration?

As a reply to vitalstatistix:
That occurred to me at first also, but that is not the case. To make it that much more odd, it not accept servername "server" port "8080" however after entering as above, closing out and going back in it would show it in this fashion.

Odhora, any success?

Have you set ur browser to search and accept proxy configuration, in that case, u will have to look closer at the client side configuration files like proxy.pac (for netscape) and the settings there on

PS: can u check the port on which ur proxy is running (server, 80, 8000, 8080, 3128)
