I have a NT 4.0 Server that is at 90% CPU usage most of the time... that is unless I turn off the RAS Server. The rest of the time CPU usage is under 15-20%.
Does anyone know if there is a problem with RAS utilizing so much CPU performance or is there a way that I can tune it up?

is it NT WK or Server
If server then load M$ RRAS patch
If Workstation, and also runing DialUp Monitor, then close Dial UP Monitor in ur system tray, ur resources will be fine. Its just one of the many problems with NT like any other crap from stable of Gill Bates

The system is the server. I've since removed RAS and stopped using it to proxy the internet. I will look for the patch that you suggested... thanks.
