Can you telnet to port 25 of your mail server {command: telnet your.mail.server 25} ? What is the error message you get on trying to send?

Hi guys I am back. Since I now have win2k setup for surfing I have found out that I can not send any email. I can receive ok but not send. I am using outlook from office 2k and outlook express that came with win 2k. I called my isp and he had me ping there outgoing mail server and it worked. I can also send and receive fine in win 98. We tried changing mail settings but nothing works. Removed and reinstalled outlook 2 times and no difference. I would once again appreciate any suggestions. Thanks crowbar
