I just built my first system, and I am still loading all my old stuff. I had Innoculate before and I can't find it. Anyway, on the cd for my new motherboard, I got PC cillin 2000. I heard it was good, so I tried to install it. Upon installation, it scans for viruses and gives me a message of "Detected a virus in the system area. Setup has created the directory 'Pcscan.tmp' on your C:\ drive. Please reboot your system from a clean, bootable diskette, and then run the command 'PCSCAN /V /A' from this directory to clean the virus"
I do not have a clue as to what that means. Can anyone help??

Exactly what it says you want to boot the computer with a system disk.
This will take you to an a:/ prompt. Then you want to change it to a c:/
prompt by typing c:/ then hit enter. The reason why is becase the file created by PC-Cillin is on the c drive. Obvious this file is meant to be opened in the dos envronment. So at the c:/ promt type the command in your case it is
pcscan /v/a So it will look like this C:/Pcscan/v/a then just hit enter.
If you do not have a system disk you can make one by going to control panel
then add/remove programs then create start up disk. Once youmade the diskmake sure you write protect this disk by sliding the tab on the side of the floppy disk.
