o/c video card..

I would like to know, to o/c my video card, do I only need to pump the FSB ? Will I need to put another heatsink/fan on the card? I'm planning to buy a GeForce3 Ti200.. thanks!

In passing...I'd improve your CPU once you have the new graphics card. I say that because you can pick up some real bargains in PIII's right now. Increasing to an 850/900 ish cpu ( Note that I haven't checked to see what CPU your mobo takes! Check before you buy! ) and you will notice a big jump in graphics performance for games.

the GF3 won't go on my p3, I would like to use it on an AMD XP 1700+

I bought the Gainward/CardExpert GeForce3 Ti200 PowerPack (Golden Sample Ti450)and it came with a nifty overclocking utility. It basically unlocks the Memory and Core clock frequencies so that you can increase them. The card came with heat sinks that seems to keep the card cool enough even when I overclock the card! However, I did decide to put a small fan on the video card for additional cooling....ya know, just in case.

No need to increase your FSB.

I'm able to go into my Display Properties, then an "nVidia GeForce3 Ti200" Tab, then under "Additional Properties" I have a "Clock Frequencies" Tab I have two manual adjustment bars: one for CORE CLOCK FREQUENCY and the other for MEMORY CLOCK FREQUENCY. I just bump these bad boys to the right to increase the freq., click OK to save changes, and after the screen flickers, I get the new settings! PIECE OF CAKE.

I believe that you can also download RIVATUNER and it allow you to adjust these frequencies of any GF3 card out there.
