Yeah it will work fine, but I would drop back to an XP1600 or 1700 and invest the money saved into an even better vid card, ram or sound. Depending on the hard drives, sound , and ram all a 1900 is going to be doing is idling waiting for more information to process.
makes sense, i am looking @ 512 DDR ram with a Creative 5.1 soundcard & speakers, will the GE3-Ti500 vidcard be a better idea or what would you suggest :)

SOmething with 64MB of ddr. Also if you haven't bought the board yet you might want to look at the Soltek SL-DRV4. With it you can automatically overclock an XP1700 up to almost the same performance level as the 1900 with stability and it enables you to easily overclock the video and the RAM without creating problems. Plus it is a very solid board with a great layout.
I am upgrading one of my systems to this setup next week and cmillion on this forum just built a computer using one.

The Radeon 8500 is a 64Mb DDR and should perform quite well. Actually, they have just released a 128Mb version, but I don't know if it's worth it or not as I haven't actually seen it yet.
