Firewall with content filtering?

I am trying to find software that would allow me to set up a firewall that will allow content filtering. I have looked around and am not finding many things that I am looking for. I have thought about setting up a Linux powered firewall, using ipchains but is there a way that I can do content filtering with that? Anyone knowledgeable in that are please post a reply and if you need any further info freom me don't hesitate to post! Thanks to all! Leo.

I know that SurfControl and Websense both integrate with many firewalls to do content filtering. The downside to them is the cost.

I am looking at Outpost right now and it seems to be blocking trash pretty well. I however, would like to have e-mails that have questionable content blocked before they get into my mail box. Let me know if there is something like that out there. Thanks! Leo.

Is this for a business or just home use?

If it's home use, it'd be pretty cost effective to do it yourself with Linux and IPChains. Any old 486 could act as a proxy and do you nicely.

On the email side, I personally keep paying for webspace just so I'm in control of my mail, even though I don't use my website anymore. 10 bucks a month is worth it, IMHO, to be able to set your own filtering rules on your own mail account ;).
