Besides the troubles of the game being designed for Win95 and being ran on 2K, I have a different less drastic problem.
The game is Industry Giant(not Imperium Galactica) but I have found a *expensive* glitch in the trains. I spent 1,402,000 on buildings to provide consumes with TVs, and HI-Fi systems(1,200,000 worth of factory). I needed a train to provide the resources(total of 2 plastic, 2 copper, and 1 sheet metal) to make the TVs and HI-Fi systems. Those were taken from the factory to the store via trucks, but the route required crosing the *supply* (rail-road) tracks twice. Due to the difference in speed and non-syhnchronization, I eventaully ended up with a situation where both the train and trucks(one for TV, one for stereo)were waiting on each other.
Surely there is someone on this forum who owns(owned) this old game and knows a of a solution to my problem. I was makeing about $50,000 extra profit I think each month untill that train accident. Maybe if I build rail-road bridges over a lowered section of terrain which would have the street for the trucks below it?(IE: both cross the same tile but not an *intersection*).
My secon IG problem is with Imperium Galactica 2, it runs OK, but is constantly restarting. C&C RA won't run unless it is on 9X, I thought there was a Win9X mode on 2K? I have some(OK, a lot) ancient games which I really, really miss. Dual booting is out of the question due to annoyance.
