i have been looking for a dual display video card for my computer. i see on ebay that people are offering an ati python with the radeon 7000, 64mb ddr, dual display and dvd playback. i have looked on ati web site and can not find this board. is this a reall board with thoes features or are these people selling rip offs? if this graphic card is for reall than it looks like it might be the best thing for me. thanks for any replies. Hi thesaint,

Can't say that I've ever heard of an ATI Python board, sounds like a ripoff. The Radeon 7000 is a real card though, and it's pretty good for basic use.

It's probably a "powered by ATI" card rather than a "made by ATI" card. In other words, ATI sold the rights to build Radeon cards to other people.

I have a 64 meg Radeon VIVO, and if I didn't use the VIVO part, I'd get something different. My brother's cheap GeForce 2 MX400 gets better framerates and 3dMark 2001 scores. Don't get me wrong, it's acceptable, and it looks nice, but it won't give you "blow everyone away" performance.

HERE IS THE LINK TO THE EBAY AUCTION. I HAVE SEEN THIS SAME CARD ON PLACES LIKE U BID AND OTHER AUCTION SITES BUT NEVER IN A STORE WEB SITE.

I agree, that's not a card manufactured by ATI, it's a card that uses the ATI graphics chip. It's stating a 1 year warranty, true ATI boards have a 5 year.
