serial -> ps/2 adapter

Hi,

I like the trackball I have here but the new board has but a single com port and the modem is on it. I have tried to use an adapter but it doesnt work. Any Ideas?

I have the diagrams for the ports. If I could get a ps/2 plug I could build an adapter making sure to wire all the pins. I suspect that may be the problem.
