I've just bough the MS Cordless Intelli Explorer, it's rubish! Going back tommorow. I play a lot of Counter-Strike so I need a v.responsive mouse, the trouble with this one is there seems to be a delayed response time between the computer and mouse. This adds mouse lag, NIGHTMARE! Wot mice do any other of u online gamers use?

For a cordless mouse get the Logitech Dual Optical, has dual tracking LEDs and is very responsice. It also comes in a corded version.
For your information, my MS cordless mouse had a collision with a wall and became total useless, but very satisfying.

I play a lot of counter strike myself (about an hour or two a day) and I absolutely love the Logitech Dual Optical corded version. It is by far the best mouse I have ever owned.

Skinny.......If the chief threw it against the wall and rendered it useless being the only use it had tell ya something about it. I to use the Logitech and it is the best mouse I have ever used. I go through a few. When I get angry at my computer the mouse is the first sacrifice.

I'm using the new mouse now (the one with silver side buttons) it seems a lot more responsive, I'll just have to get used to the shape. Can the speed of ur processor effect it's response, also wot is best port to use...PS/2 or USB because I have adaptor.

The Microsoft Corded models are fine, but for cordless Logitech is the only brand to go with. Logitech has always been the leader in the input device market and they make their own stuff. I still think that Microsoft is just re-branded cheapies sold at a higher price.

I have a corded(USB) Microsoft Optical Intellimouse-It works great. Has 5 buttons and a wheel. I especially like NOT having to clean the gunk off the ball and cylinders weekly. I play Wolfenstein for hours a week with no complaints.

So who makes the best Cordless mice? Logitech, Microsoft or somebody else?

OK Thanks, I'll look into getting one I think (I have a nice Logitech ball mouse at the moment - very cheap but hell, I like it)
And I've noticed there's a rather nice blue metallic logitech mouse out :)
