Hiya I just added a 2nd hdd, how do i get it to take over when the 1st hdd is full, also after a while the system freezes, i checked the setup and the hdd no problems. I use win98.

You physically have to move files to it - it can't "take over" all by itself. Be careful moving programs because they will no longer run if the drive letter has changed - you will have to uninstall and reinstall them to the new drive letter instead. You can safely move documents and data files though.

Thanks any ideas why the computer freezes, and on reboot i get the message 'cannot read drive C, i go to bios and find both my hdd drives are not listed, then after a while i can reboot????

What is your drive config (primary/secondary, master/slave), are you using 40 or 80 wire cables, and how are the drives jumpered?

Thanks for your advice, i upgraded the bios and all is ok. I hope!!!!!!
