Adaptec Easy CD Creator w/Spin Doc

After searching for a while on the net for a software program that will split the tracks on a large WAV, I came across the Easy CD Creator. Apparently, it has something called a Spin doctor that will recognize the gaps in the WAV and divide the tracks automatically. Presto! No having to stop and start recording for every track. Has anyone used this? How well does it work? How much for the software?

Any other alternatives?

The price is $99.99 on the web-site but I think you can find it cheaper at Best Buy or a lot of other places.
