Can anyone please explain to me what all the hype is about this technology called 3G .. and is it a competitor for Bluetooth?

ya know, its actually kinda funny that you ask this question, as i spent 5 hours today in a Voicestream training talking about exactly those technologies.

according to them, they put 3G at around the year 2005.

also, got to see the new Motorola V70 (http://commerce.motorola.com/consumer/QWhtml/v70.html) which is just so damn cool.
